CHARLESTOWN, R.I. (WPRI) — A dead whale was found Tuesday at Quonnie Beach in Charlestown.
The town said Mystic Aquarium has assessed the situation and will conduct a necropsy.
After the whale is looked at, they will determine the best way to get rid of the carcass.
The town urges people to keep their distance until Mystic Aquarium completes their work.
