NARRAGANSETT, R.I. (WPRI) — An elderly man was rushed to the hospital after he was pulled from the water in Narragansett Friday afternoon, according to authorities.
Narragansett Fire Captain Joe Conroy told 12 News first responders were called to East Shore Road for reports of a missing swimmer.
Conroy said first responders quickly found the man and brought him to shore. The man, who was unconscious, was rushed to South County Hospital.
His condition is unknown at this time.
