SOUTH KINGSTOWN, R.I. (WPRI) — South Kingstown police are requesting help from the public as they investigate recent incidents of mail theft.

Police said the thefts resulted in credit card fraud.

Residents are asked to review their home security footage and keep an eye out for suspicious activity.

Anyone with evidence should email police@southkingstownri.gov. Police will then send a secure link to upload the video.

If you spot suspicious activity happening in real time, you should call 911.

"Your help could be the key to identifying the thieves," police wrote in a Facebook post.
