WESTERLY, R.I. (WPRI) — Beach season is upon us, which means the 14th annual Misquamicut SpringFest is here.
Festivities begin Friday at 5 p.m. at Misquamicut State Beach, rain or shine.
The festival features rides, games, food, a beer and wine tent, and even a classic car show on Saturday.
Executive Director of the Misquamicut Business Association Caswell Cooke Jr. told 12 News events like this help small businesses and local vendors.
"Friday night John Cafferty and the Beaver Brown Band and let's hope you don't need an umbrella," he said. "We have about 90 vendors at this point so food, arts and crafts commercial vendors, we have karate demonstrations we have all sorts of great stuff so non-stop music non-stop fun."
Tickets can be bought online for $10 and at the gate for $12. Kids under 7 are free, and parking is also free.
